Where can I find more information on ebikes?
You can read more about how ebikes work on our general FAQ page here: https://www.mobibikes.ca/en/faq
How much does this membership cost?
  • The Community Pass cost of $20.00 is one-time fee for the year and includes tax.
  • You can still incur additional fees during your year of membership.
    • Overage fees of $0.25/minute for classic bikes and $0.35/minute for ebikes will apply if you exceed your 60-minute ride limit.
    • If you do not end your trip properly and the bike is left unlocked, a Late Return fee of $5.00 will apply each time this occurs.
Pro tip: Each time a bike is docked at a station, the timer resets. Overage fees can be easily avoided by docking bikes at any of our 250+ stations before you exceed 60 minutes :)
How can I pay for the pass?
  • You can pay with cash, credit, debit, E-transfer, or in person.
  • You can only pay with credit or E-transfer online.
How do overage fees work?
The Community Pass is structured similarly to the 365 Day Pass Plus with unlimited 60-minute rides. If the rider goes over the allotted 60 minute ride limit, they will be charged $0.25/minute on classic bikes and $0.35/minute on ebikes.
Overage fees can be avoided by returning the bike to any of our 250+ stations around Vancouver before the 60-minute ride limit.
How do I pay for any fees on my account?
Community Pass fees can be paid for in person, using cash or debit card at the Mobi office during office hours. You can also pay any fees online, using a credit card or e-transfer.
We reach out to pass-holders with any fees on a monthly basis to arrange payment and provide location details.
