Mobi by Shaw Go, Vancouver’s public bike share program, is perfect for commuting, running errands, visiting friends, or exploring the city. Serving 29 square kilometers of the city with 2000 bicycles at more than 200 stations Mobi by Shaw Go has become an essential part of our transportation network.
The bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Mobi by Shaw Go is available for use 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days a year.
In partnership with the City of Vancouver, Mobi by Shaw Go is part of the City’s vision of promoting cycling as an integral part of daily life. The City contracted with a private company; Vancouver Bike Share Inc. (a subsidiary of CycleHop) to operate the program. The City of Vancouver administers the private contractor.
Mobi by Shaw Go operates on the ancestral and unsurrendered territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, who have inhabited these lands for thousands of years.
We honour the ancestry of these lands, understand it's our responsibility to learn about Indigenous cultures here and across Canada, and pay our respect to the original peoples and stories of this territory we call home.
Vancouver Bike Share Inc. is a subsidiary of CycleHop, the largest ‘smart bike’ bike share operator in North America. In addition to Vancouver CycleHop manages bike share programs for Ottawa, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Phoenix-Mesa, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Cleveland, and other cities.
