Why are you a founding member of Mobi?
As the Council liaison to the Active Transportation Policy Council, I have been part of the efforts to get bike share in Vancouver for years. I am SO excited that it is here – I signed up as soon as I could! I have used bike share in several other cities and know it will be tremendously popular here.
Why do you love to ride?
I’ve ridden a bike all my life – I love the flexibility and freedom you have on a bike. I also love meeting other cyclists on the bike routes – which get busier every day. After time on one of my bikes, my mind is clearer and there’s a smile on my face.
Where are you going to go on your first ride?
I’m currently waiting for knee surgery so Mobi will be perfect for short rides connecting to transit. I expect my first ride to take me from a Downtown Canada Line station to a meeting a few blocks away.
