Youth Community Pass

Healthy Mobility Program**

Our Youth Community Pass program, first launched in 2023, makes bike share more accessible and affordable for youth aged 12 - 18. With support from Vancouver's Walk Bike Roll team and the Vancouver School Board, the program supports active transportation access for students. Students at participating schools can now access bike share to get to activities, see friends, and explore the city in an environmentally friendly way.

You may qualify for this pass if you are a student at

– Britannia Secondary School
– King George Secondary School
– Kitsilano Secondary School
– Templeton Secondary School

*No credit card required. Cash, debit and e-transfer available.

**Financial aid available upon request.

What is the Youth Community Pass?

The Youth Community Pass works to make bike share more accessible to youth aged 12-18 at participating secondary schools. When you sign up for your Community Pass, the pass will be valid for 365 days from the sign-up day.

The pass offers youth unlimited 60-minute rides in a 365-day period. Rides longer than 60 minutes incur overage fees of $0.25/minute. This pass only provides you access to classic bikes.

Note: The pass is only available to students at certain secondary school as part of the pilot program expansion. Financial aid is available upon request.

How do overage fees work?
The Youth Community Pass is structured similarly to the 365 Day Pass Plus with unlimited 60-minute rides. If the rider goes over the allotted 60 minute ride limit, they will be charged $0.25/minute on classic bikes. Students can check the total amount of fees on their account at any time by logging into their account and looking at Payment Information section. You'll see any amounts owing there and can follow any of the pass payment methods to pay down the owing amount.

If your pass exceeds $25 in fees it will automatically pause until you pay down the amount.
