Mobi x RideLink Pilot

Ridelink Mobile App Pilot

Getting around Metro Vancouver is about to get easier. Mobi by Rogers has partnered with TransLink, Modo, and Evo to pilot the new RideLink Mobile App — a single platform that brings multiple transportation services together.

With RideLink, you can plan, book, and pay for transit, carshare, and bikeshare — all from one app, using your Compass Card for smooth access across modes.

The pilot runs from February 2024 to December 2025, and your participation will help shape a more connected, convenient future for getting around the region.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why an app?

The app pilot will provide selected users with real-time locations on bike, car, and transit options! You can book and pay for trips all in one app with multiple providers. Over 50% of Mobi users already combine their Mobi trips with the bus or skytrain so providing one app is a step towards making this multi modal trip easier for them. Ride a Mobi bike to an available Modo car and then drive yourself to a transit hub to catch a train all in one app.

How much do RideLink users pay?

Ridelink users enjoy a special discounted rate: $1.00 to unlock, $0.15/minute for both Classic & Ebikes

How do I unlock a bike?

  1. Once you've selected a bike, select "Unlock" on the app to view access instructions – this will not book a bike, nor unlock a bike for you.

How do I return a bike?

  1. Return the bike to any station.
  2. Insert the front tire into a vacant dock.

What happens after the pilot?

The RideLink team will analyze all the anonymous data gathered during the pilot to develop a data-driven understanding of users’ experience and feedback. We will keep users informed of any next steps.
