Why Bicycle Valet Is the Way to Go This Summer

Events are back in full swing this summer, which means Mobi by Shaw Go is partnering with The Bicycle Valet once more to make your bike share experience a breeze. When it comes to starting or ending your trip at some of Vancouver’s busiest events you can visit The Bicycle Valet and our staff will be happy to end your ride for you.

Powered by BEST and Translink, The Bicycle Valet will be designating space to accommodate Mobi bike share members to conveniently park their bikes at temporary valet locations the events listed below.

What is The Bicycle Valet?

It’s as straightforward as it sounds. The Bicycle Valet is a valet system - but for bikes! It’s a free and convenient way to safely park your bike at temporary valet stations available onsite at local events taking place this summer.

This eco-conscious program was set in motion by Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST) to promote accessibility by providing security for bikes (and accessories) as well as making sustainable transportation methods an easier option for planning your trips within the city.

How The Bicycle Valet Works

The system works just like coat check - roll in your bike to the Valet and we’ll take care of the rest. For personal bikes you’ll be handed a claim ticket for when you later pick up your bike - for Mobi bikes, a Mobi staff member or volunteer will happily end (or start) your trip for you.

Check our events calendar and redeem a free 24 Hour Pass* with the code "rideandshine" and ride for free on event days that Mobi by Shaw Go is partnered with The Bicycle Valet. Ride over, hop off, and enjoy the event!

No Mobi bike available at the Valet to start your trip? No problem. Check out our Mobi by Shaw Go app or our website to locate the nearest station to you. A Mobi station is always nearby!

*Please note that this promo code is only active on these event days.
