The February Rider Challenge is back for the fifth year! In celebration of this milestone we're doubling the amount of winners we'll be handing out prizes too! We’ve got some great prizes lined up so this is a month where you’ll want to be taking as many trips with Mobi by Shaw Go as possible!

What is the February Rider Challenge?
The February Rider Challenge is a month long competition to see who can take the most trips with Mobi by Shaw Go and the top 10 members with the most rides win a prize.
What trips qualify?
You can take as many trips per day as you want, but there are a couple rules to make sure the competition is fair and fun. For a trip to qualify, the following requirements must be met:
- A ride must be 2+ minutes long. Rides lasting 1 minute 59 seconds or less will not be counted.
- A ride must be 50+ metres in distance. Rides covering 49 metres and less will not be counted.
- At least 5 minutes must pass between consecutive rides.
- Rides must be between 00:00 PST on Monday, February 1, 2021 and ends at 23:59 PST on Sunday February 28, 2021.
We will keep track of the number of trips you take and announce the top trip counts weekly on social media. To keep track of your trips, visit our Mobi by Shaw Go app or log into our website. The winners will be announced on March 1, 2021.
Get Bonus Points
Share a picture of your Mobi by Shaw Go ride on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and you will get 1 trip added to your final count each day you share a unique picture. Make sure to tag us @mobi_bikes and use hashtag #BikesWeShare for your picture to count. Feel free to post as many pictures as you like, but you will only recieve 1 bonus trip per day. A reused photo will not count.
What are the prizes?
Now for the fun part - The prizes!
Prizes for the top five riders - First, second, third, fourth and fifth place winners will recieve a PC Gift Card.
Riders will be rewarded with a PC Gift Card in the following amount
- 1st place: $200 Gift Card
- 2nd place: $100 Gift Card
- 3rd place: $50 Gift Card
- 4th place: $25 Gift Card
- 5th place: $25 Gift Card
Riders that finish in sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth will have $20 of credit added to their account. Credit on your account is automatically applied when you renew your pass or if you experience any overage fees.
Size up your competition
We had some committed Mobi-ers participate in the challenge last year. Last February, our top rider took 270 trips.
Rules and Regulations
*Vancouver Bike Share Inc (VBS) reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Challenge or any part of this Challenge at any time for any reason. Prizes will be distributed or withheld at the discretion of VBS. All prizes must be claimed by Rider at VBS headquarters (1383 Venables St., Vancouver BC, V5L 2G1) by Mar 29, 2021 at 17:00 PST or via email. A unique Rider may only receive a maximum of one prize; if a Rider wins with multiple accounts they will have their choice of applicable prize and the other applicable prize will be awarded to the runner-up in that category. No monetary value will be given in exchange for prizes. By taking rides during the designated contest time period, all riders will be automatically entered unless Rider manually requests to opt out by contacting VBS at info@mobibikes.ca. All Rider information will be kept within the constraints of agreed upon Privacy Policy rules and will not be shared with third parties without expressed consent. In order for a ride to qualify for the Challenge it must meet all of the following conditions and is at the discretion of VBS: A ride must be 2+ minutes long.
